To sound your best, here are a few tips:
- Use a USB or XLR mic (Blue Yeti, Shure MV7, etc. — even AirPods are better than laptop mics)
- Choose a quiet, echo-free room — soft furnishings help (rugs, curtains, etc.)
- Use headphones to avoid echo or audio bleed
- Use a camera at eye level. We don’t want to look up your nose and neither does our audience.
- Turn off notifications and close unused apps to preserve bandwidth
