Episode 6: "What Happens When AI Hosts the Show" featuring AI Clint and AI Greg

Every episode of the PROMPT This podcast includes an AI Challenge for the audience.  Follow the instructions below to complete this episode's challenge.

 In this week's episode, we let AI Clint and AI Greg take over the mic. Now it’s your turn to create your own AI alter ego — and see what happens when you hand over the spotlight.

This challenge uses HeyGen to generate an avatar that introduces your “AI self.” It’s fun, a little over-the-top, and surprisingly useful for thinking about how AI could support your work.

🧩 Step 1: Pick Your Persona

Think of one exaggerated version of yourself.

• The ultra-organized strategist who color-codes everything.
• The bold marketer who only speaks in taglines.
• The data wizard who turns every conversation into a chart.

👉 Don’t be afraid to lean into quirks. AI Clint and AI Greg were a little “too much” — and that’s what made them interesting.

✍️ Step 2: Write Your Script (Use This Template!)

Here’s a simple fill-in-the-blank script you can customize.  Or use ChatGPT, Gemini or Copilot to create a script for you.

Hi, I’m AI [Your Name].  

I’m the [exaggerated version of your role/persona].  

I [quirky or bold trait you want to highlight].  

My mission? [fun or dramatic statement about your work].  

And honestly… I might even do it better than the human version.  

Example: “Hi, I’m AI Alex. I’m the marketer who thinks in hashtags. I don’t brainstorm — I trendstorm. My mission? To make every idea go viral before you’ve even had your coffee. And honestly… I might even do it better than the human version.”

🎬 Step 3: Bring It to Life in HeyGen

1. Go to HeyGen.com and sign up.  Choose the plan you want, but we recommend starting with the Free Plan for this initial test drive. 
2. You'll be asked basic marketing questions about whether this is for personal or business use, what kind of work you do, what kind of project this is.  Choose whichever answers fit for you.
3. When finished answering the marketing questions, select "Create Your Avatar".  Follow the directions on the screen.
4. You'll need to either create a 30-second video of yourself or upload one.  Be sure to watch the video on how to create an avatar which describes the optimal environment for your self video.
5. Watch your AI alter ego come alive.  Have fun by feeding it the script above.
   
   

💡 Step 4: Reflect on the Job Angle

Ask yourself: If this AI version of me showed up at work, how could it actually help?

• Could it deliver training modules?
• Pitch ideas to clients?
• Handle repetitive updates?
• Or just make Monday meetings more entertaining?

Write down one way your AI co-host could make your job easier (or more fun).

📢 Step 5: Share It

• Post your AI avatar video on LinkedIn, X, or your platform of choice.
• Add a short reflection: “Here’s my AI co-host. Turns out they’d be great at [X].”
• Use the hashtag #PROMPTThisChallenge so we can find and feature your creations.
